Position, on the RCM regional agenda, the relevance of strengthening government capacities to identify diaspora profiles and strengthen mechanisms for accessing legal identity.

About the RCGM:

The RCGM is the technical-policy coordination body of the RCM; it is composed of at least mid level officials, preferably Directors, of migration related ministries, such as foreign affairs and immigration authorities with decision-making capability that can formulate proposals.

About the course:

The course is aimed at personnel from public institutions responsible for generating data and mapping of diasporas, as well as agencies specialized in providing consular protection to migrant and diaspora populations.

To generate a space for exchange between the Troikas of both consultative processes and to address the agenda and scope of the IV Plenary Meeting between the RCM-SACM.

Train participants from countries belonging to the RCM and SACM, as multipliers on the Humanitarian Border Security (USFROH) course, to raise awareness and standardize migration processes, provide new tools to ensure respect for human rights for an orderly, safe, and regular migration, to lay the foundations for the "Regional Observatory on Irregular Human Mobility".
