Objectives:

1. Address the strategic relevance of the participation of regional processes in the review forums of the Compact for global migration governance. 
2. To inform RCM Member Countries of the procedure, roles and deadlines for the preparation of the RCM regional contribution to the IMRF 2026, and 
3. To facilitate an initial technical discussion on regional priorities for RCM.

Building on the outcomes and recommendations of the VI Regional Congress on Women in Contexts
migratory measures, the VII Congress seeks to:

• Improve mechanisms for the exchange of information and good practices in protection and assistance, as well as the empowerment and equality of migrant women and women in contexts of human mobility during the stages of the migration cycle.
• Enhance international cooperation in protection and assistance and in the empowerment and equality of migrant women, in line with regional and global frameworks.

Objective:

To publicize the course available on E-Campus and encourage participants to enroll.

General Objective:

Promote greater cooperation and synergy between the consultative processes of the Regional Conference on Migration (RCM) and the South American Conference on Migration (SACM) to address changes in migration trends in the continent and migration governance.

General objective
Contribute to the regional dialogue between the RCM countries and the strengthening of labour mobility mechanisms, within the framework of the agenda for the extension of social and labour protection to migrant workers, to promote safe, orderly and regular labour migration.

Structural meeting of the RCM, attended by senior officials from immigration and foreign affairs institutions.

General Objective

Review the implementation of the Regional Recommendations to Promote the Exchange of Information for the Search for Missing Persons in the Context of Migration, adopted by the RCM, and in accordance with international human rights standards and the Global Compact on Migration.

Specific Objectives

• Expand information and data from IOM's Missing Migrants Project.
• To learn about the thematic report on missing migrants at the international level, by the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Migrants, as a valid input to support the actions of the workshop and the implementation of the recommendations.
• To evaluate the degree of implementation of the Regional Recommendations to Promote the Exchange of Information for the Search for Missing Persons in the Context of Migration, adopted within the framework of the RCM, contrasting them with the findings and feedback obtained after the presentation of the Analysis Study of the Mexican Foreign Support Mechanism for Search and Investigation (MAEBI) in the countries where the Foundation has a presence.
• To learn about the progress made in the area of Missing Migrants in Panama, from the perspective of the Attorney General's Office of that country.
• To know the positions on the exchange of fingerprint information, an effort led by Honduras, with the recent accession of El Salvador.

General Objective

Review the status of the implementation of the traceability mechanisms defined in the roadmaps developed by the RCM Member Countries, at the July 2024 workshop, for the intra-regional migration corridors.

Specific Objectives

• Demonstrate the technical and operational progress of the roadmaps constructed for the intraregional migration corridors, identifying the factors that facilitate or limit progress in each case.
• Define specific actions for each traceability mechanism based on technical and operational progress.
• Promote the implementation of new strategic milestones related to traceability systems in the short and medium term.

Objective:

Exchange of experiences between the South American Conference on Migration and the Regional Conference on Migration.

Specific Objectives

• Exchange experiences on migration integration between both conferences.
• Present strategic advances of the SACM: South American Plan 2035 and Annual Plan of the Integration Network.
• Reflect on the construction of a regional system of residence and full integration.
• Learn about good practices of the RCM in return and reintegration.
